Cineplex taps Embed for Xscape Entertainment Centres

EmbedDallas, TX – June 2011 – EMBED, a leading provider of Debit Card and Point of Sale Systems for the amusement and family entertainment industry, announces the commissioning of the Embed System at the third Xscape Entertainment Centre by the Canadian based Cineplex Inc. Located in Cineplex’s SilverCity Oakville, Ontario Cinemas, the third Xscape venue joins already established locations at SilverCity Newmarket and Cross Iron Mills. Cineplex utilizes Embed’s Color-Glo Wireless Debit Card Swipers for the cashless operation of games as well as Embed’s Redemption Pro System to manage their prize redemption activity. Cineplex has plans for further Embed System installations for upcoming Xscape locations.

The past installation of our third Xscape Entertainment Centre with Embed went off without a hitch, stated Joe McCullagh, Executive Director of Merchandising for Cineplex.
